Our ideal candidate brings:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
  • CPA designation.
  • Experience in municipal finance, budgeting, and public sector financial reporting. Strong knowledge of provincial and municipal legislation, procurement policies, and taxation regulations.
  • Proven leadership in a municipal or public sector environment, with experience in strategic fiscal management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to various stakeholders.
  • Experience managing audits, investment strategies, and risk mitigation.
  • Familiarity with financial systems, technology integration, and reporting software.
  • Experience with sustainability-focused financial planning and digital transformation initiatives.
