YORK CATHOLIC DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD SEEKS

The York Catholic District School Board seeks a community member with financial expertise and business knowledge to serve on its audit committee for a three-year term effective March 1, 2025.

Applicants must be a Catholic resident of York Region, a separate school supporter, have an accounting designation, and have sufficient accounting and financial management expertise to understand public sector accounting and auditing standards. The applicant must not be a current employee or officer of either the York Catholic District School Board or any other district school board or school authority. The applicant must not have a parent, child or spouse currently employed by the board. Time spent attending and preparing for the meetings qualifies as CPA Ontario verifiable Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours.
