Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Corporate Controller with a passion for leading financial operations and mentoring teams to join Liburdi. Reporting to the CEO, the Corporate Controller will play a crucial role in driving developing financial policies, identifying cost saving opportunities, and leading an ERP system implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead accounting and financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Develop and implement financial policies tailored to manufacturing processes.
Oversee cost accounting, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
Manage annual operating, capital, and program budgets.
Collaborate with manufacturing and service teams to analyze production costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Implement inventory management strategies to optimize levels and minimize costs.
Prepare insightful monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Lead ERP system implementation and integration, ensuring seamless deployment.
Serve as a key liaison between finance and manufacturing during ERP implementation.
Maintain strong internal controls within the ERP system.
Provide ongoing ERP support and training to end-users.
Stay updated on manufacturing and ERP trends, identifying opportunities for innovation.
Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects.
Foster a collaborative, accountable, and continuously improving culture within finance and manufacturing teams.
Occasional travel to Liburdi’s American office in Mooresville, North Carolina (2 to 4 times per year)
Qualifications:
CPA designation required.
Post-secondary education in accounting or finance.
Minimum 8 years in a senior accounting/finance role with multi-currency reporting.
Minimum 5 years managing and mentoring finance teams.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
ERP system implementation experience is an asset.
Extensive knowledge of accounting and financial management principles.
Proven experience managing financial operations for a $100 million plus enterprise
Education and Experience:
CPA designation required.
Post-secondary education in accounting or finance.
Minimum 8 years in a senior accounting/finance role with multi-currency reporting.
Minimum 5 years managing and mentoring finance teams.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
ERP system implementation experience is an asset.
Extensive knowledge of accounting and financial management principles.
Skills:

Proven leadership and team development abilities.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong business intelligence and data analytics skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Power BI, and Power Query.
International finance experience.
Experience with multiple jurisdictions and legal entities is a plus.
ERP software experience (GP or 365 preferred) with the ability to learn new systems.
Strong knowledge of auditing, accounting, and corporate finance principles.
Ability to build strong internal and external business relationships.
Solution-oriented with a positive, "can-do" attitude.
Strong grasp of internal controls and finance procedures.
Effective attention to detail and high accuracy.
Ability to prioritize tasks and focus on critical issues.
