We are a fast-growing Real Estate company that encompasses the day-to-day operations of several companies, including construction, property management, and investments. We are seeking an individual who desires to grow as a partner with our team. The ideal person is a strong and professional communicator, adept at managing cash flow, skilled in crafting financial statements and offering insightful analysis with an eye for detail. Additionally, experience in developing processes and controls is essential.

 

Do you have 5-10 years of accounting experience and a recognized accounting designation(s)?

 

Is Excel your ‘forte’ for communicating with tax accountants and senior management? Are you analytically awesome? Is preparing tax documents and reviewing year-end results something you enjoy…

The ideal candidate will have:

 

  • Creating & maintaining robust financial systems and controls
  • Proficiency with financial statements & insightful analysis.
  • Expertise in managing cash flow and overseeing financial reporting.
  • Experience with construction and property management is advantageous.
  • Experience managing multiple corporations is a plus.
  • Payroll and budgeting experience.
  • Strong background in reporting and analysis.
  • A track record of identifying efficiencies and process improvements.
  • The ability to effectively communicate the benefits of process changes across departments.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing a team.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite of Products
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
  • Familiarity with finance regulations
  • The ability to identify finance / numerical errors
  • Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. Sage50)
  • Real Estate Experience an Asset
  • Organization skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Estimated Salary: $85,000.00-$95,000.00.
