Your responsibilities
- Gather and analyze data, create tools and prepare documentation in support of the Manageable Costs Budget Process.
- Carry out financial impact analysis of business decisions (cost/benefit).
- Analyze quarterly variances, forecast reports and data related to manageable and operational costs.
- Maintain the fixed asset database, SAP master data and investment income process and prepare various reconciliations.
- Support the month end closing process, including preparation of internal financial statements.
Your profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
- Minimum of two (2) to five (5) years relevant experience.
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Knowledge of the complete accounting cycle, closing year-end, and external auditor files.
- Strong knowledge of reconciliation, including bank reconciliations.
- Advanced knowledge of costing, capital budgeting and FTE budgeting.
- Fluent in French and English, verbal and written, in order to communicate with teams located in Quebec and Ontario.
- Proficiency in conveying complex financial information in simple to understand terms.
- Advanced proficiency in applicable computer programs and related office software (Microsoft Office, SAP, etc.).
