Vice President, Finance & Chief Financial Officer
Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President, Finance & Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will manage all of the administrative and financial affairs of the Kensington Health Centre and the Kensington Eye Institute. The incumbent will direct, supervise and coordinate the functions and activies of the Finance and Facilities portfolios and ensure the security and safety of financial information for the Kensington Health Centre and Kensington Eye Institute. In collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the Vice President, Finance & CFO will ensure and promote a range of services that meet the individual financial needs and expectations of the people we serve.
Qualifications:
CPA or CGA, with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in leadership of hospital clinical programs, long-term care, ambulatory, rehabilitation and/or complex healthcare environment. Master's Degree required, preferably MBA, MHA, MSc. or equivalent.
Ability to lead and inspire a high-performing cross-functional team. Ability to plan and effectively control the financial operations of several institutional units. Ability to execute on a range of initiatives and inspire system level change. Exceptional relationship developer working with organizational partners to facilitate change while fostering a culture of creativity and innovation. Knowledge of the Provincial Health Care systm, in particular provincial funding and decision-making processes in order to support and drive strategic decision making at the organizational and partnership level would be an asset. A sound knowledge of accounting techniques, budget preparation, and administrative procedures. Strong project management experience, including demonstrated ability to efficiently plan, organize, and manage complex, multiple projects simultaneously with limited supervision or direction.
