Health Sciences North (HSN) is seeking an innovative individual for the position of Director, Finance to establish departmental goals and objectives while maintaining the vision and strategic direction of HSN and ensure effective controls are in place for all levels of Finance, including cash/debt management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business operation services.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Master’s Degree in a Business field with a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Designation. We are looking for someone with a minimum seven (7) years’ working in a progressive leadership/supervisory role in both a unionized and non-unionized setting, preferably in a health care environment. Candidates that possess training or recent experience in dealing with financial planning and analysis, accounting, internal controls, audits, business planning, and asset management and experience with Process Improvement (PI) and lean methodology is preferred.
