This position is for a company Internal Auditor/Operational Manager.
The candidate must have a CPA designation in good standing.
The starting salary is $70,000 plus benefits (Health, Dental, and Long-Term Disability insurance).
Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Position start date: Immediate.
Location: Primary attendance will be at the head office in Oakville, Ontario; regular on-site visitations, auditing, and training are required at multiple locations within the GTA.
Fast-paced, busy environment.
The required skillset includes strength in management accounting, policy and procedure creation, internal auditing, reporting, staff training, and working well under pressure.
Responsibilities include but are not restricted to the following:
Preparation of monthly internal departmental reporting to senior management.
Management accounting.
Developing and maintaining policies and procedures.
Developing and maintaining internal controls.
Conducting regular audits of internal policy and procedure compliance.
Training staff in multiple departments.
Management of staff in various departments.
Coverage of specific accounting staff when required.
