Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Finance and Property Services carries the shared responsibility for the overall functioning of the organization in the delivery of service, strategic planning, policy development and fiscal accountability. The incumbent leads and ensures the delivery of excellent service in the day-to-day operations of the Finance and Property Services departments, and provides guidance and assistance, where required, in the provision of specifically related services to the Society.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education specializing in Finance or Accounting.
  • Currently holds a CPA, CGA, ACCA designation or equivalent qualification.
  • 7+ years of experience in a field directly related to the job with increasing accountability and complexity.
  • 3+ years of experience in formal people management (e.g. set goals, coaching, performance management), preferably in a unionized environment.
  • An equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, and training may be considered as appropriate.

Additional Information

Candidates must undergo and successfully pass a background check before an offer of employment may be made. Proof of education is required.
