RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Risk Management – ensure balance sheet reconciliations across all Shred-Tech companies are completed with the highest quality, consistently, and on a timely basis. All reconciling items must be cleared on a timely basis
  • Budget and Forecast Management – coordinate, gather, develop and submit all forecast and budget submission date to parent company with supporting schedules and variance explanations
  • Cash Flow Management – oversee the cash operational cash flow needs for the company on a weekly basis and ensure and adjust timing of outflows and leverage borrowing as appropriate
  • Tax compliance – oversee and monitor corporate and use-tax submissions. Ensure Intercompany balances are reviewed regularly and settled on a timely basis
  • Ensure key (monthly) management reporting (customer-product profitability reports) data is accurate and commentary is provided for material changes in margins
  • Review all Capital Expenditure submissions to ensure submission is complete and fully supported
  • Tackle day-to-day operational questions requiring financial input and solutions
  • Drive annual External Audit exercise
  • Finance lead on acquisitions and ERP implementations
  • Coach and mentor finance team to be best in-class

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:                   Undergraduate degree in Accounting and CPA (required)

Experience:                  3-5 years experience in a similar role

 

Specific Skill Ability and Knowledge:             

  • Problem solver and strategic thinker with a track record of improving financial processes and outcomes. Specifically, does not accept status quo – highly process driven with ability to identify process issues and the ability to develop and execute solutions
  • Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably as a Director of Finance or similar
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Experience working with consolidation software (SAP’s Business Objects, Hyperion, etc.)
  • Highly proficient with financial software and ERP systems
