Through its Supportive Housing, Attendant Outreach and community-based programs, PACE provides support services to more than 356 clients with disabilities. Services are delivered in a manner that is consistent with the Philosophy of Independent Living.  For over 42 years, PACE has demonstrated its commitment to having the courage to continuously evolve. PACE has been on an intentional journey of evolution and continuous improvement that has seen the organization create and respond to considerable change.  Successful integrations over the years played a significant role in growing the organization.

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will provide visionary and strategic leadership to ensure overall financial health and well-being of the organization. The CFO will ensure financial stewardship, integrity, and accountability for the full continuum of client services provided by PACE. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the CFO has operational oversight of Financial Services (financial planning & reporting and accounts payables & receivables), Payroll Services, and Contract Management Services. Leading a team of three, the CFO has accountability for programs and services related to financial management and ensures PACE’s policies are adhered to with respect to all financial activities. In addition, the incumbent acts as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and supports the Board to fulfil their fiduciary responsibilities.
The ideal candidate brings a strategic and visionary approach and has experience acting as a business partner while leading the financial operations within an evolving organization. You have an interest and ability to balance the hands-on operational requirements of the finance function, while providing strategic guidance to your team, the senior leadership team, CEO, and the Board. An effective business partner, you are committed to understanding how client services are delivered and value the experiences of PACE’s clients, staff, and service delivery partners. You bring 10+ years of senior financial leadership experience and proven accountability for financial operations, systems, and reporting, ideally within a publicly funded organization. A CPA designation is required.
